iPhone 14 pro experiences?

I acquired my iPhone 14 Pro last Wednesday and am absolutely loving it. The sounds for powering the phone on and off work great. I was a little concerned when I was no longer receiving notifications about my battery level being at 20%, but when I learnt these notifications are shown in the dynamic island only, my concern faded. I explored the dynamic island a couple of days ago and it works great. IOS 16.0.2 downloaded and installed much faster than any software version in the past. The battery life is so much better than my previous phone, which was an 11 pro. If you have the opportunity to purchase the 14 Pro, I would highly recommend it. In terms of size, I think it is the same size as your iPhone 11. My 11 pro was a little smaller, as it was 5.8 inches.

Hi, I have a 14 Pro Max but everything will apply the same other than the battery not being as big, For me the stand out features are Battery, amazing. Speakers, massive improvement which means I can understand VO at least 5% and maybe 10% quicker and OMG is it fast. Like blazing quick. Very noticeably quicker than the 11 Pro Max I had before. It’s a very very worthwhile upgrade, startup sounds are great and very helpful.

From another post on Applevis, it appears as though the new GPS functionality does not make any difference. I'm curious about the camera though. Can anyone confirm / deny that they are seeing an improvement in the quality of scanning / other uses of camera?

I hoping to get the 13 pro when I finished paying my 12 pro. Next month. Next year if I can will be 15 pro whatever they call it if there is major changes.

Hi I was planning to get an iPhone 14 pro with 1 tb storage, but it's saying I wouldn't get it until the 3rd to the 10th, (meh), then I realized they made the 13 pro in 1 tb, but I don't see where apple is selling those here in the US anymore. Can a person even get a 13 pro new and not refurbished anymore? I would also be interested in knowing the differences in the 13 pro and the 14 pro for voiceover users, although it looks like a moot point, and I'll probably just have to wait for my 14 pro, it's only a couple of weeks from the time I order it, but it's going to seem like forever, I'm so excited for the high end storage.

So ya I believe you can still get the 13 not the pro though. I was also surprised though about the pro and max but not the original, as I don't keep track of the discontinuation cycle of iphones, this is new to me, but this is a good logical reason!

So I just ordered my iPhone 14 pro 1 tb model yesterday, now I'm all but pacing around waiting the 2-3 weeks for it to ship. :( Anyway, while I wait, I'm reading about a thing called dynamic island. I saw someone on here post that they like it. The more I read, the more I feel like it's a visual thing. So what's the point of it for voiceover users, how will it impact us? I don't get it, maybe I just need to see it in action.

There are alot of bugs in the bug tracker concerning the new Dynamic Island. I don't exactly know because I do not have a 14 but I am aware that it's sorta like the place where all the device info you need is at a glance always—For sighted users... You can get timers in it, Now Playing Controls, and alerts, and maybe some other stuff too.
