Hello,
I am looking for a bluetooth speaker that costs around $200 and has excellent sound Quality. I would like it to have powerful bass and enough power to keep a party going. I do have the soundlink mini but my mom wants to get it. Any recommendations or should I just get another SoundLink mini?
Thanks

I would suggest still getting that speaker.

stick with the SoundLink

Hi,
I have a bose soundLink II, not the latest soundLink speaker. It works great. Just stick with the mini. At this point in time, I don't think there are any portable speakers that will shake the house. For that, you'll need a large stereo with very good quality speakers and a large woofer. I'd stick with your SoundLink for now.

Klipsh might be an option

The little I know of this company, though a bit expensive, the base is insane. I have an old dock of Bose that was a birthday gift. I'm right now struggling, go pay the thirty bucks for an adapter thirty pin or just buy another something. anyway youtube that, I know it won't be the same as hering it inperson, but that's what i've done for research.

Try Logitech UE Boom

While the bass on this speaker may not be as powerful as on the Bose one, I feel the sound is less muffled and clearer. The design of the speaker is also awesome! Just give it a shot and you'll see what I mean!

The klipsch is 300 and it does need D batteries if it wants to run on battery, but according to what i've read, it will last you twenty six hours. I've heard computer speaker demos, and they are indeed basey as anything. I'm happy withmy bose for now, but I'll keep an eye out.

Hi
Does the uE boom have powerful bass and is good for parties?
If not, what speaker is good for what I want to do?
Thanks

Can't let this one go without mentioning...

I can't let this thread pass by without mentioning the jawbone jambox. It's available in 2 sizes and packs a decent amount of bass to keep a party going! I know, some people will probably laugh, but I definitely like it and it's even just under the $200 price range.
