MacID with BT LE headsets

Hello,

Anyone else out there using MacID with a BT LE, also known as BT 4.x headset? For those not familiar, MacID allows you to use your iPhone or Apple watch or Pebble watch to unlock your Mac or enter the system password whenever the system asks for it. The app for the IOS as well as for the OSX is accessable so kudos to the developer for that.

Now my question. Does anyone use a BT LE headset such as the beat or airpods and have the MacID installed? I noticed with my Made for iPhone hearing aids, which uses BT LE, there are some noise when I am near my iPhone or Mac. I set the energy on the Mac ID to high, medium or low but still get the noise once in a while. If you have a device with a W1 chip. Do you hear the noise too? On my regular BT headphones, I don’t hear the noise as it uses BT 2x.
