question regarding Trekz Titanium After Shokz

Hello,
I was just curious of why the Trekz Titanium After Shokz come with ear plugs? I just find that interesting being a headset lol. Also there is a bag that has 2 loop like rubber bands, what are those for?
Thanks!

Noisy environments and loose fits

By Paul

The ear plugs are intended for use in noisy environments where it would otherwise be difficult to hear audio from the headset. The Trekz even has a reduced bass equalization mode specifically intended for when you use the ear plugs. Holding down the volume up/down buttons at the same time changes the mode between normal and bass reduced.

The rubber loops are apparently supposed to help when the fit of the headset is too loose, but I have no idea how they're actually supposed to work.
