Questions about Mechanical Keyboards

Hello Apple Vis,
I had a question I wanted toast you guys. Have any of you used a mechanical keyboard? Are they any good? Are they better than a normal Mac keyboard?
I know that they are good for gaming, but for a person who types regularly. I was curious to know if they do well?
Definitely let me know what you guys think.

I have a DAS mechanical keyboard to go with my iMac and absolutely love it. A warning though, once you use one you are in love with it forever. Any other keyboard will feel like junk. :) I hope this helps.

I"m assuming any keyboard you type on that have keys on it are mechanical, by virtue of having keys to press. Now I'm getting the impression there is a difference here? Are we talking a keyboard with clickey keys or what? What's the difference?

These are the clicking gamming keyboards. I hear they are nice. I also want to get one, but the keys for windows and alt are reversed which kind of sucks if you are logged into windows.
