Recommendations for a good scanner

Hi all, I am in the market for a good scanner. I have a load of books which I need to scan and which are not available in electronic format. I'm using both FineReader Express and VuScan. Either a USB or Thunderbolt scanner (if such exists) is fine. Note I'm purchasing this through work, so for once I'm more interested in speed and quality rather than price. Looking forward to suggestions, Dónal
