What is your opinion on the Apple USB see to lightning connector for iPhones

In my opinion, I really love it, it is a really fast charger that can charge your devices and no time!
It works perfectly and I love and enjoy it.
What is your opinion?
I like the USBC more than the old USB connectors because they're smaller and it doesn't matter which way you stick it in the hole, as well as being able to provide a little more juice. On the other hand, the old USB is much more ubiquitous still, and not really compatible with the C. I'm guessing there's an adapter, but I don't have one. I have a bunch of the USB chargers and interfaces around the house and on devices, but only one USBC charger port on a power strip that also has two of the old USB ports.
I assume Apple is going to get rid of the lightning port on future iPhones, and I really don't care about that because USBC is probably better. I don't have any power banks with USBC yet, and those are too expensive to replace if they still work.
The USBC plug can be inserted into the larger USB port if you aren't paying attention, unlike the lightning and micro USB connectors. I don't think it damages anything, but it also can fool you into thinking the cable or the device isn't working. So I guess that's my only complaint.
FYI the EU sent a letter to apple about their unhappyness with fast charging only with the cables from apple and reduce speed with others. Apple would need to have the speed for all or EU will step in and punish apple. I agree and as long a third party cable is certify it should not be an issue.
I figure msot of you already know, but in csae anyone reading this post is unsure, you can differentiate between USB-C and lightning by feeling the ends. USB-C has a little ridge, is the best way I can describe it, on the end, whereas the lightning cord, while feeling very similar to the USB-C, has a smooth, closed end. I hope that makes sense and, even more, that it helps. smile

One other thing...

USB c will be a good thing
USBC will be a good thing. I want to upgrade this SE3 but do I get the iPhone 14 pro or wait for the 15 pro that is the question.
