By Hannes, 7 April, 2021 Forum iOS and iPadOS Gaming Hi all i red on audio games.net that the devs would be willing to add accessibility to this game, however, they want to know how many people would be willing to play/test the game. Options Log in or register to post comments Comments What game is this? What is this game about exactly? I’d be willing to help out Apologies Here is the App Store description . Play on ANY CITY in the world! Answer incoming calls and to react properly - dispatch firemen / police / ambulances, give first aid instructions, advise, save lifes! In 911 OPERATOR, you take on the role of an emergency dispatcher, who has to rapidly deal with the incoming reports. Your task is not just to pick up the calls, but also to react appropriately to the situation – sometimes giving first aid instructions is enough, at other times a police, fire department or paramedics’ intervention is a necessity. Keep in mind, that the person on the other side of the line might turn out to be a dying daughter’s father, an unpredictable terrorist, or just a prankster. Can you handle all of this? PLAY ON ANY CITY IN THE WORLD* Check out thousands of cities from all around the world. The Free Play mode lets you choose a city to play on - the game will download its map, along with real streets, addresses and the emergency infrastructure. You can also try the Career mode, which contains 6 cities with unique events – survive an earthquake in San Francisco and save Washington, D.C. from bomb attacks. MANAGE TEAMS A number of police, fire department and paramedic units are at your disposal. The forces may use a variety of vehicles (from common ambulances to police helicopters), essential equipment (e.g., bulletproof vests, first aid kits and technical tools) and consist of team members with different abilities. PEOPLE’S LIVES ARE IN YOUR HANDS! Main features: - Over 50 recorded dialogues inspired by real calls: serious and dramatic, but sometimes also funny or annoying. - Real First Aid instructions. - Opportunity to play on any city in the world! - 6 selected cities in Career mode, featuring unique calls and events. - More than 140 types of reports to encounter. - 12 types of emergency vehicles (including helicopters, police cars and motorcycles). *** (!) The game requires Internet connection to download free maps. The offline game is available after downloading the maps. (!) The game does check the user's location once to propose a city for download. User's location is anonymous and not stored. All map data © OpenStreetMap authors * The term “city” is used within the meaning of OpenStreetMap service and relates to urban areas described as “city” or “town” therein. this would be interesting I would certainly play it and would test. interested After reading the app store description that was posted here. I'm interested in testing this game. How can I sign up to test it out? I'm very interested!! I would love to help test this! Interested This game sounds interesting, I'd certainly be interesting in looking at it's accessibility when and if it is implemented Very interested I would love to try this out when it is accessable. I would even love to be a beta tester if they had the option to in the future. I be be interested as well… I be be interested as well to test. Where do I sign up? Right now They are only gathering data on how many people would be interested in this right now. Is there an email we can… Is there an email we can send to so we don't clutter up this thread? I'd also be interested, but I want to contact these guys formally and let them know. I agree totally with @KE7ZUM I'm not at all normally a gamer, however, I would be thrilled to try this one out! I agree though. I don't know if they are monitoring this up on Applevis, but I'll send them a link to this thread, and also will personally contact them and let them know I'm super interested. This is wonderful! Does anyone have their contact address? Mingwhile, I'm going to look in the app store, and see if I can find it. Also, I'm gonna subscribe to this thread so I get e-mail updates. I'm incredibly interested, and for someone who's not normally a gamer, that's saying something huge! quick suggestion You also might want to send them a link to the thread on audiogames.net There are over twenty people on there, who would also be interested to test, that may or may not be looking at applevis. Just so the developers can get a full scope of how many people would be interested to test and or play. hi all i sent them a mail… hi all i sent them a mail with the links to this form as well as audio games.net I’m interested too I want to play this now!!!!! Is there an email address we… Is there an email address we could use? like I said ,I'd rather do that and have a personal contact with these guys, rather than an audio games thread I might not look at for a few months. I don't think this is funny! I don't think this should be a game as you're talking about real life and death situations. I won't be playing, and it doesn't even sound interesting to me! Sorry about that. What the hell? This is a simulator, so why do you think it's not funny because of life and death situations? So you wouldn't play a bus driving simulator too because you could run someone over, or what? Grate to here A while back I contacted the developers, they told me that they weren’t planning to update the game at all, so it’s great to hear that they’re thinking about an accessibility, I’m definitely interested and I would like to be contacted if something happens Why wouldn't they update to have the most up-to-date data? you'd think that they'd at least want people having the correct data to share with others, so why don't you think the dev team will update the game? I will be very interested I will be very interested to see where this game goes in terms of accessibility. To the person who thinks that this game is somehow meant to be funny or a joke, I highly doubt that. If anything, I think it may or may not give someone a glimpse of what 911 operators have to go through on a day-to-day basis in terms of making decisions Agreed. I will be playing… Agreed. I will be playing this game on my streams when and iff accessibility coimes out. Yes, I mean iff as in "if and only if." If someone gave the email can they give it again, I really do want to get in touch with them. Contacting can be done through Use firstname.lastname@example.org thanks so much. I'll do that… thanks so much. I'll do that. Happy tuesday. More than happy! I'd be more than happy to do that. Can you possibly provide me with a more direct link to that exact thread up there? I'm at work right now, on break, so don't have a lot of time to hunt that down from the main homepage, forgive me. If you can get that to me though, I'll send it over. Also, just for everyone's knowledge, I did send them a tweet via Twitter. Their website which is linked to from the app detail page in the app store is a little bit confusing to me. It didn't really seem that they had a way to reach out via e-mail. The best thing I could really find was either Twitter or Facebook. That is why I chose the Twitter route. I never heard back from them as of yet however, and that message was sent over to them right after my last comment up here in this Applevis thread, so it's been at least a week or so. Thanks You two.
