Hi there.
What basically happens is that after the most recent update to crafting kingdom direct touch basically no longer works.
Gestures are not being sent through to the app at all, and voice over is intercepting them as normal when in actual fact this should not be the case.
Also the direct touch router item has also completely disappeared when focused on them app so you can't manually reenable direct touch.
Also going into the settings and direct touch apps and disabling and reenabling it doesn't help.
You can still play the game if you turn off voice over however this is impracticable because of the fact that it uses your region's default voice at a very slow speed which might cause annoyance to some players.
Please take this into account.
Thank you very much.

Turn off voiceover
If you can turn off voice over and use the native accessibility, it works. Its not perfect but it's a work around until it gets fixed.
With this workaround
Do you know how to change the voice it uses?
Thank you for the report
I occasionally play this game. Sad to here.
Voice work around
Go to accessibility>read and speak, set the voice from there including any parameters you want, open the game, turn off voiceover and enjoy.
That doesn't work
The app doesn't use the options I've set in Read and Speak. As Johann said, its self-voicing mode uses my region's default voice at its default speed.
How About Galactic Colonies?
Galactic Colonies was made by the same devs, uses the same game engine, and received an update on the same day as the patch that broke Crafting Kingdom was released. Does anyone know whether it was affected, too?
Yes
Yes, it also is broken from what I was told.
So Much For an Update...
It's been said before, but I'll say it again: We need a downgrade button for times like these. At least, until the developers realize they've cut off a chunk of their users and fix this. Anyway, thanks for the info. I'm going to miss those games.
At least the game is there
I will never ever reset my iphone 14 even with full local backup because A Blind Legend is there and I wouldn't want to lose it.
Re: Downgrading
I miss being able to downgrade an iOS application from a backup on my Mac via iTunes. Those were the good ole days... 😇
