unable to launch de steno games app

HI all
I would like to play de steno games on my IPHone.
I have the IPhone5s with I OS 9.3.2.
I am unable to launch the app.
When I tap on the de steno games icon on the home screen, I hear a bleep sound that plays when an app is launched but nothing further happens, the app does not open.
I check in the app switcher, the de steno games app is there, but if I tap on the app in the app switcher I'm back on the home screen.
What can I do to fix this?

I am pretty sure that as of last year, all iOS apps had to be 64 bit. If the Destino games app was never updated, it probably won't run any more. Then again, if you're still running iOS 9, that might not be the issue. I could be wrong, and if I am, would love to be corrected, but thought I heard that all non-64-bit apps were removed from the app store. Logically, that shouldn't impact an app you already have installed, but who knows? Also, am just curious because I get nosy sometimes: if you have an iPhone 5S, why haven't you updated to iOS 11 yet? The 5S is even going to be capable of running iOS 12, so I just can't help wondering why you'd still have iOS 9. It's absolutely none of my business, of course, but inquiring minds have to ask anyway. LOL!
