I’m looking for a good IOS markdown editor that supports VoiceOver really well. I’m really just wanting a nice way to take notes in markdown and be able to have control over my files and access them on other devices through dropbox. I was trying to use Apple Notes, but for some reason, some of the formatted text doesn’t navigate well. I tried using the rotor to go line-by-line, but things like bulleted lists read really poorly (especially if they have longer multi-line items). It just became unusable. I’m not sure if that’s because I’m still using an iPhone XR and so maybe the newest Notes version isn’t supported or something.
In any case, I like the idea of just plaintext markdown files that I can also view in a rendered preview for easy reading. I like what I hear about 1writer and IA writer, but I don’t know how compatible the most recent versions are with VoiceOver on IOS. Does anyone have recent experience with these using VoiceOver? Any other information you think would help me would be greatly appreciated.

Important feature is broken on the latest update
The Preview feature has worked for years, but now it’s broken. When you tap the Preview button at the top right of the screen, voiceover doesn’t read the document content. It sees it as an image. This is the most important feature for writers, but it’s now broken so the app is almost useless if we can no longer preview what we are writing. I have sent an email to the Developer, but he doesn’t seem to respond on this issue.
