I'm not one that normally comes on here complaining about apple like a lot of people have. However there's one thing that really annoys me and that's 2 factor authentication. Apparently from what I understand as of 6/15 this feature will be required because apple is requiring third party apps that use the cloud to use a generated password. I was trying to do something last night with my apple id on the apple website and let me say the accessibility is crap. The issues I had is when I logged into my apple id I had to enter the verification code, however I found something strange. Apparently the way it looks is that each number from the code goes into its own edit box. Vo would not give me much feedback on this. First of all when I tried to type it just kept bonging and my cursor wouldn't even stay in the edit field. Vo would just announce each field as edit, edit, edit. I did not know what even went there. Finally I just gave up and did what I needed to do from my pc instead of my actual device because I also have the cloud on my pc. Jaws worked fine with it. If apple is going to start requiring passwords for third party apps which requires 2 factor authentication to be used then I think they need to improve the accessibility of this method. I would urge everyone bombard the accessibility team with this, unless I'm just crazy and making it harder than it really is. If I am please give me an easier way to go about this.
