Accessible Alarm Clock Apps

There are all sorts of apps that have you do a wide variety of stuff, from drawing a shape or pattern to solving a math problem or even calling a random person to wake you up, but I have not come across any apps that let us do just that in an accessible manner. Are there any apps that go beyond the built-in Clock app and allow for more customization to help users wake up more easily? Do note that I've not even tried those call apps because I don't want to have any awkward or inappropriate conversations for certain reasons including religious ones and the fact that I switch on airplane mode when going to bed.

Are you saying the native IOS clock app doesn't work for your alarm, or are you looking for an app that lets you draw etc.? If the former, I'll need you to describe what you are doing when you set up the alarm, such as telling siri, "Hey SIRI, set the alarm for 7:00 a.m."
If this is what you are doing and it isn't working, try turning on do not disturb instead of switching on airplane mode.

I am looking for an app that does not let me double-tap the Stop button, throw the device away, run back to bed and resume my dreams.

A few years back some grad students at MIT invented an alarm clock that, once it went off with a horrible racket, jumped off the nightstand and rolled to the far corner of the bedroom, where it continued its horrible racket until its sleeping human vicgtim finally pulled himself out of bed, stumbled over to the alarm clock, picked it up, and pushed a sequence of buttons while the alarm clock squirmed, screamed for help, and tried to get away.

Is that the sort of alarm clock you're looking for?

Wow, is this by chance still around? If so I'd love to get my hands on one. Btw, the native iOS clock app lets you assign custom labels to alarms and presumably timers as well. I've done this a little bit, and I assume one could get creative with the label. Also, I'm wondering if Steve's Clock is still around and if it is, does he have an iOS and/or a Mac app? I'm referring to a Windows-based program made by Steven Clower that had a bunch of different clock sounds including a belching one. I'm not kidding when I say that either. I had this program for a little while and it was pretty sweet.

I
m afraid you'll have to google those alarm clocks to find where you can buy them.

I did have one thought about your predicament, though. Have you tried setting the alarm to go off, and then setting another alarm to go off a minute later, and then another alarm to go off a minute after that, etc.? Simply turning off the first aalarm won't turn off the second, third, fourth and so on. You'll have to rouse yourself every minute to turn off the next, and by the time you get to the fifth alarm, I imagine you'll be awake.

This is a method that I can and do follow but I need something more innovative. I'm not sure whether I would really buy an alarm clock that would resist me and face bitter consequences, including going to waste along with all the money paid for it, but an app that requires more conscious and logical steps to stop the alarm would be greatly appreciated. Besides, I often wake up much earlier than the other people that sleep in the same environment, and it is not exactly pleasing to hear their complaints about a series of alarms playing one after the other. For this very reason, I even set some alarms to have no sound at all, and replace the label with a space so that VoiceOver doesn't yell at me once the alarm begins playing, so I just hope the vibrations wake me up but this doesn't work all the time.
