Accessible GPS App for Malaysian User

By Yujin, 22 July, 2013

iOS and iPadOS
Hi, I am a Malaysian iPhone user. I am actively searching for accessible GPS apps to help with my travel. I noticed that there are many choices available like Sendero GPS, Blind Square, and Seeing Eye GPS. Based on what I heard, GPS app will differ in accuracy based on location. Before I blindly buy a GPS app and then discovered that it is not usable, I would like to ask for some recommendation. I would like to know if there is any accessible GPS app for me to use in Malaysia. Thanks in advance!

Hi there, blina square is a great app that comes with some guidance with voice. it does not give you turn by turn navigations but most of its data are from foursquare. If you have been a loadstone user on nokia phone, you might want to check out on ariadney gps. The only thing is it doesn't have a database in it and you will have to build it up. but you can key in some coordinates and get some address data from google. It really depend on what you want from it. navigations? or just been able to know when you reach certain plase? or what. you may need more than one app to cater for your needs. thank you.

Hi There there are many choices unfortunally Sendero Look around is gives none or poor information and is better that jump to the next options Unfortunally Seeing Eyes GPS only is enable to perchase in USA. one more choice is Ariadne GPS the price is accessible $5.99 US however the best blind navigation app is BlindSquare I suggest to you that before to buy it ask all your questions BlindSquare has a group where you can know all about the app look on the forum the information since the home page of applevis and the search menu for blindSquare and subscribe to the BlindSquare group, unfortunally for some reason I doesn't work the links that copy and paste on this side
