Hi all,
I'm trying to write up a checklist for an event tomorrow, and just discovered the checklist feature in the notes app. How do I actually add items to a checklist though? When I add an item, VoiceOver says that item, then new line, then the next item, but I'm not sure if I am actually adding that second line to the existing item in the checklist or actually creating a new item. Making this even less clear is the fact that I can't seem to navigate each item, but in the VoiceOver rotor, there is a drag 1 and drag 2 action on that note. How does this work?
Also on a somewhat related note, when I'm editing a note, I'm noticing that the rotor remains set to actions even when a text field is editing, something that doesn't happen in any other app.

Check lists
Yes. Anytime you leave a note and go back to it, the rotor goes back to actions.
If you turn on checklist, it makes a new item each time you hit return. Something can mess this up, it might be leaving the edit field of the note. Iβm not sure, but I have had problems with it a few times. In that case, just go back and select the items individually that didnβt make it into the checklist, and then go hit the checklist button again. for example, if you have go to the store, jump off a cliff, and swim down a river as your three items, you would select go to the store, and then you would go hit the checklist button.
I hope this helped.
PS. Jumping off a cliff is not a suggestion, please donβt add this to your checklist.
