Hi everybody, I am a new iPad user and am looking for suggestions to integrate the use of an iPad into the set of tools I use for work. I primarily use windows on NVDA and write documents in google docs, and academic papers in LaTeX on overleaf using VSCode and Git.
I've seen a lot of discussion on this forum that an iPad is not a giant iPhone and I am almost convinced. However, I do feel like I might benefit the most from being efficient with using an iPad with an external keyboard. That brings me to my first question: Are there good keyboard cases that make the use of VoiceOver on iPad easy?
Second, I plan to use my iPad for writing both in google docs and LaTeX with overleaf. Is the default google docs app accessible with VoiceOver using an external keyboard? Are there any strategies to be able to accessibly write LaTeX on an iPad and sync it back to overleaf?
Third, for note taking, i'm willing to experiment with other apps than google docs and I came across several recommendations such as drafts and Ulysses. Are there good recommendations that would minimize the need for me to deviate heavily from my current workflow that involves both an iPad OS and windows device? I would prefer a setup that lets me potentially create google docs, sync notes to windows, and potentially export to accessible formats such as HTML.
Finally, please also share your experiences if you've found creative, efficient uses for an iPad.
Thank you so much in advance for all the help!
