While doing a little research, I stumbled across this article. it was written June of last year, and tells how to do certain functions with Alexa through Siri.
I believe since then, Alexa has gone through a series of updates, and the information no longer seems valid.
Has anyone been successful getting Siri to work with Alexa, besides the typical, "Hey Siri, open Alexa"?
Thanks in advance for any insight. 🙂

Please explain
I'm not sure exactly what you are wanting to do.
I opened my Amazon alexa IOS app and set it up. I then used the app's announcement feature from my iPhone, which caused my echo dot to make my chosen announcement, so I assume everything on the alexa app is fine, although I never used SIRI.
Re: Please explain
Hi Bruce,
Read this article at the end of this reply. This is what I am trying to do. It was valid a year ago, and either no longer works or I just fail at following directions. ☹

Widget
Also to note that I am well aware of the Alexa Widget and in fact, use it often. However, if I can ever get Alexa commands to work directly through Siri, as the link above suggests, that would be a win! 😃
