some websites use colors to indicate whether the current number change to a greater value. for example, one checked the value 10 minutes ago and the value was 99.63, check again now and the number is 99.55. the 99.55 is in red, and there is also a 0.08 in red indicates the value has decreased. there is no minus sign before the 0.08, so the only way to tell whether is's > or < is by its color.
one can press vo-shift-l on the mac, and vo will say "red text on white background, detected text 0.08" so one can tell it's a negative number. is there also a way to have an ios device announce the color? too bad if there isn't, because there is no way to tell which direction the number has changed.
