Any accessible Ham Radio programing software

By Chuck Winstead, 16 November, 2017

Hello Apple Vis,
I've been wanting to work on getting my Ham radio license, and many of the lower cost radios kind of require a computer to program the radio. Does anyone know of any accessible software to programming a Ham radio?
Thanks in advance.
Chuck

I have had good luck with CHIRP under Linux, and they have versions for Mac and Windows as well.

On a Mac, if you have Homebrew, you can use:
brew install tdsmith/ham/chirp
