For anyone who wants some more information about how the new braille screen input works In iOS 18, you can register for free for this online zoom session.

It’s run by the Braillists foundation which is based in the UK.
The session is today at 19:30 UK time and will cover the following:
The devices supported by iOS and iPad OS 18
New ways to enter and exit Braille Screen Input
New sounds and haptics
Braille entry improvements
Using Braille Screen Input to control and navigate your iPhone or iPad
We welcome your questions during the session and we will make sure we allow plenty of time to answer them!

Hi. I completely missed this and wasn't aware it was happening until just now. Will there be a recording or something that those of us who didn't register for the zoom call can access? I use braille screen input a lot and would really like to make the most of it on iOS 18.

A recording of the session should be available via their BrailleCast podcast feed in the coming days. You can find it by searching for BrailleCast in pretty much any podcast app or at the link above. Hope that helps.
