I want to put together a poker game. Is thhere an iOS app that can read the value and suit of playing cards? Something that you can open and then set your phone face-down and place the cards over the camera. Something that will then read them to you through bluetooth or headphones. I will still need the board (cards face-up on the table) announced by other players, but would allow me to read my hand.

wouldn't getting braille or large print cards be a lot easier?
I hope others are able to give you the answers you've requested, but when I read this, my inner card-player just had to respond in bewilderment. I really enjoy playing cards with my friends and family, but think the whole experience would be significantly slowed down and a lot less fun if I had to mess around with an app on my phone to read the cards. Braille cards for the win!
