For most things, this app is great, but sadly, there are parts of programs that just don't get read out, which is problematic. I use Station Playlist on my desktop, and with NVDA Remote on the pc, everything reads great, but with the ios app, it reads the time a track is scheduled for, but not the track itself. It's so weird! Plus, there is nothing to compensate for the lack of certain keys missing on a lot of keyboards made for iPad. No way to send function keys, as even if a keyboard case has a function row, they are assigned to iPad specific functions, not standard function keys. Also, no home, end, page up and down, all that fun stuff. So, sadly that app isn't as useful for me as I'd hoped. For a lot of stuff, it works fine, but for the main thing I actually need to work, it's a no go. But it is easy to configure, and as long as you don't need it for use with Station Playlist, you should be fine.
I couldn't hear anything and the app didn't deliver anything it was promising. Unless I got something wrong? Iphone with external keyboard which was working with voiceover. Unless I am hallucinating like our favourite AIs this is also available on the mac from iphone and ipad apps in the appstore and it wasn't working at all there too.
I am so surprised RIM from Numa Solutions didn't get mentioned a lot on applevis, it's such a great app and solve so much things at once, like everything numa do.
There is a certain option you have to select, to use Voiceover as the TTS, or else it doesn't seem to work. I don't have any Apple devices anymore, so can't really test again or refresh my memory on those settings, but if you play around a bit with it, you can get it working.

It's been a bit, but it did work for me.
