Automating camera mode with Workflow or other apps

I am wondering if those familiar with Workflow or similar apps know if it is possible to automate switching to camera mode. Ideally, what I would like to do is have a single icon that would take my phone from portrait to landscape, turn brightness to 100 percent and basically be ready to take a picture.
If I had someone sighted with me, I could then just turn voiceover off and hand the phone over to them, or leave it on and take the picture or video myself.
As it is, when I want to have someone take a picture, I'm at least 30 seconds away from having the camera app ready, which is a super pain in the backside.
I know it is possible to automate some tasks with workflow but I'm not sure if something like this is possible.
