Hello again. I'm not sure if anyone else is experiencing this. I have an iPhone XS Max, and I know my battery is a bit old, but still. Ever since I made the update to iOS 18 yesterday, it's like my iPhone battery is taking forever to charge. Is anyone having this problem?

setting>battery
Hi. Did you check settings>battery to see if your phone is set to stop charging your battery at 80%? Or to "optimize" your battery charging (which is probably what's happening)? Or to charge to 100%? I suspect the answer will answer your question.
good luck
Thanks.
I have turned off optimised charging, and it seem to do the trick. Still, it's charging a lot longer than usual. I guess I just have to adapt to this new routine.
Okay, this is getting rather ridiculous
So, I was charging my battery for four hours, only for it to go up to about 65%. Is no one else having this problem?
no issue
No issue hear.
What is your settings>battery set at?
Inside charging optimization, if it's set to 100%, your phone will charge fastest. If set to optimize or to 80%, your phone will charge quickly up to a certain percentage but will then trickle charge slower for the rest.
I hav no this issue
I usis 20 wat charger and I hav no issues with fast charging.
I have an iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro too.
Charger or Battery Issue
Based on your description of the phone only charging up to 65%, it sounds like an issue with either your charger or the battery itself. Check the charger first. If it isn't the charger, go to Settings> Battery> Battery Health. If it's anything under 80%, I would have it replaced.
I have an XS Max
I'm unable to choose exactly how I want my phone to be charged, but I do have the ability to turn optimal charging on and off. Right now, mine is turned off. I also find it funny because, it just started to happen exactly after the update. In any case, I think I'll wait to see what the next update does. If I still find issues after that, I'll probably have to consider replacing my battery.
