Hello. Has anyone had issue with using the Siri Shortcut to "Call a volunteer with Be My Eyes"? I tried showing it to someone who has an iPhone 14 Plus running the latest iOS 18*** and it says that this is not setup yet with Be My Eyes. But when I try it on my iPhone 14 (not Plus) running the same version of iOS, it works fine.
The reason this is needed is because the person is 90 years old and can't see the buttons needed to tap when the initial call to a volunteer ends. It displays an "OK" button that needs to be pressed to confirm that he wants to actually end the call....and then another button to tap the Thumbs up or down. Both of which is can't see to tap. And using VoiceOver is a bridge too far for him with his cognitive issues - so it renders the app not usable. Unless I'm missing some type of workaround where he can use it hands free some other way.
Any feedback is appreciated. I've already reached out to Be My Eyes and they said they are aware of this issus - but can't promise to remove those touchpoints on the screen (and I do understand why they can't).
Thank you!

If he has the Meta glasses, he could just use that.
Say what you will about them, but saying, hey meta, be my eyes, is much quicker than having to run a shortcut. The nice thing about the glasses is if the volunteer hangs up before you do, you don’t seem to get that rating prompt. I think there is a way to hang up from the glasses, but I forget off the top of my head. I think it’s something like double pressing thetouchpad. I believe you can also say hey meta, hang up.
If the glasses aren’t an option, you could use the two finger double tap two end the call, which should work. I have not tested this myself, but with most apps it does.
Just reread your post and realized VoiceOver isn’t an option. You could probably set up vocal shortcuts, as well as voice control. You could use voice control to say, tap OK, tap thumbs up, or tap thumbs down.
