A bit of delay when using the new Siri female voice as a VoiceOver voice

Hey guys,
I'm not sure if it's me, or if it's happening across all devices able to run iOS 11, but I'm seeing a little bit of delay with the new siri voice as a VoiceOver voice.
If you don't get what I mean, I'll explain a little more in detail.
Basically, if you flick right or left using the Siri Female voice as your default VoiceOver voice, or as an option in the Language rotor settings, it takes about 1 or so seconds before it says what you've flicked to.
Since Alex is my main voice, when i flick, there is o delay at all. But with the Siri Female voice, there's a partially major delay.
Also, I noticed this with Nicky, who used to be the original Siri female voice, when I had my old iPad running iOS 9.3.5. But on this new one, I'm not so sure if Nicky's delay thing has been fixed or not.
Is anyone experiencing the delay?

Hello
On my iPhone 6S I also discover the new Siri female voice is slower than all the other voices.

I've heard that the voice is much more responsive when used on devices with the A11 Bionic CPU. It seems like this voice requires more processing power. What iPad are you using? The voice may work better on the A10X CPU in the newest iPad Pro models. I'm still using an iPhone 5s. The new voice isn't available at all for use with Siri. It has a second or two lag when used with VoiceOver.

Hi. I am also having the same issue with the new Siri female voice. Siri female runs slow on my 6S and I recently switched to Ava and voice over runs much faster. I miss the new Siri female as my voice over voice but Ava will have to do for now... This may have to do with the size of the Siri femal file...

I don't mind the slower response on my iPhone SE. I only wonder, is it the same on newer devices, compared with the SE? Or will the American Siri voice work faster on devices like the 8 and the 10?

I remember that on my old iPad Mini, the siri voices had two types of qualities, Default and Enhanced. Well, it turns out the Default quality version of the siri female voice has absolutely no delay. This is kind of weird, because samantha's default and enhanced voices do not have any delay either.
I just remembered this, and I'm wondering if it could be the quality delay or something?

I experience no delay or sluggishness with the new Siri female voice on my iPhone 8. In fact, I really, really like the new Siri female voice. It's just one of the reasons why I'm very glad I upgraded to the iPhone 8.

Ah so is the processing chip. I thought so.

I'm sure that one day we'll be kind of forced to update to the latest device, as now more and more demands are placed on the processor and processing power. It would be interesting to see how far this will reach and turn out.

Well, five years have passed, and this bug is still present.

Yesterday, changed VoiceOver to use one of the Siri voices, turned VoiceOver on, and my last year model iPad started lagging very bad. Everything was very very slow.

So, had to open Settings and return to the default voice. This made VoiceOver on the iPad work fine again, as expected...
