bookmarking in maps?

Hi I suspect I'm doing something wrong here, but I can't for the life of me figure out what it is. I'm trying to bookmark a location in maps on iOS 6, the manual states as follows: "Get information about a location: With a pin selected, double-tap to display the information flag. Swipe left or right to select the More Info button, then double-tap to display the information page." In which I should be able to bookmark the location. However, when I double tap a pin and subsequently swipe left or right, I don't really see the more info button anywhere on the screen. Instead I get a 'double tap to dismiss local info' element, or at least that'd probably be the rough translation from my native language. Is what I'm tapping not a pin? I also tried useing the rotor setting "points of interest", so this puzzles me. Malthe
