Calendar events from a shared calendar donʻt show on my iOS 8 devices

Iʻve got a problem with my iOS 8 (iPad & iPhone) devices. The Calenadar events from a specific calendar never show on either iOS device.
The settings on iOS & OS X side seem fine. They show fine in Yosemite.
I donʻt remember if they worked before Yosemite. The calendar is a shared calendar. The event invites and inbox seems to work, but NONE of the calendar events can be viewed or seen anywhere on iPhone or iPad. Sort of an issue since Iʻd like to use the calendar app and not Notes & some random pieces of other notes in my pockets or backpack to keep track of where Iʻm supposed to be.
Is there some common bug that Iʻm missing?
