Can you set appointments with reminders that go off at a specific time with Siri?

Hi,
As you all know, in the calendar app, you can choose to have reminders of your appointments and have them go off at certain times before the appointment, such as one hour before or one day befor, is it possible to set such appointments with the help of Siri? I have tried looking up this on the net, but got no answers whatsoever. If it is indeed possible then what's the syntax?

The syntax is exactly what you might imagine:

Remind me to [reminder] [date]

For example:

  • Remind me to take the roast of of the freezer at 7
  • Remind me to pick up the dry cleaning tomorrow at 3
  • Remind me to water the plants next Thursday at 5

Thanks, but...

That's for the reminders app, i was talking about the calendar apps notifications, you know the ones that you can set to go off X number of minutes/hours/days before the actual scheduled appointment. In the details screen of the calendar app there's this control that says "notification" or something like that. Am i making sense?

You are making sense.

I was trying to figure this out too. I haven't yet. What I end up doing is a two step process. I create the appointment, and then create a reminder. I'd love to do them in one step.
