I have an original iPhone SE (the one that has the same shape as the old iPhone 5/5s). It doesn’t have wireless charging built-in, but I got at adapter that stays plugged into the lighting port and wraps around the back. It works great and I can now place the phone on any wireless charger!
But. Now my voiceover is talking for a good amount of the night. It seems when the phone hits 100% charged, charging stops. But then the power dips to 99% and the charging starts again, causing voiceover to announce “99% charged” and then “3:24am”. This happens for the rest of the night.
Can anyone else confirm that this is due to my diy wireless charging and that the newer iPhones with wires less charging built in do not have this issue? Thanks so much for your help!

I've never seen this…
I've never seen this behavior with any of the phones I've used wireless charging with.
No, that won’t happen when…
No, that won’t happen when you have an iPhone with built-in wireless charging.

Thanks! It was about time for me to upgrade anyhow but this gives me another push to go do it. It is most likely due to my diy wireless adapter.
