COntacts sort order is not correct on IOS

Hello all:
I have some contacts with just numbers, like School 1, school2, school3 etc, but they are about 2000 COntact, so, IOS arranges them as follows:
School 1, SChool 10, SChool 100, then School 2, School 20 etc.
Is there away to let IOS Shows me the order as regular order 1, 2, 3, etc?

I'm not sure what you'd rename them to but having contacts as school one to and three would be confusing for me personally.
