converting a video taken from a iphone 7

By Gary Hough, 31 October, 2017

iOS and iPadOS

Hi,
I took a video with my iphone 7, but the .mov file is very big. About 400 mb.
I wanted to save it so I first of all sinked my phone in itunes and then backupt my phone but didn't find the video anywhere.
I want to whatsapp the video I took but whatsapp only sends a small bit of it.
Is there anyway that I can save the video to my pc running win 7 32 bit or convert it to a smaller format so I can send it.
Thanks,

Gary.

Pazera Free MOV to AVI Converter

Hello there. not sure if this is what you had in mind, but this is what I use. it is a free program you can get for windows. I personally don't like .mov files. I am old school, and like avi files, and I tell it to convert using xvid, wich does make the video smaller. I also change the data rate, and the size, wich means it is no longer an HD video, but it does save me a lot of space. I hope this helps, and is what you had in mind.

Thanks for the info. That is exackly what I want to do. the other thing is how do I save that video to my pc? I could use dropbox but it takes forever.
Tried with itunes but might be doing something wrong, as backing up or sincing the phone doesn't seam to work.

you can do it threw ITunes if you want, however, I use dropbox myself. I have phyber internet so it doesn't take me all that long. you can also do it threw windows explorer last I knew wich was a while ago. you just might have to go several levels deep into the IPhone to find them.
