Does anyone know an easy to use Looper for Guitar recording and an easy to use metronom?
On iPhone I use Sound Brenner as a metronom but on iPad it doesn't seem to be as easy to use as on iPhone.
Thanks and all the best
Jürgen

Hi!
You can use garage band on iPad.
It is a very good looper and has a metronome.
YYou can import any sound track.
And you can record your guitar play at the same time.
But you have to use any head set.
And certainly you can plug in any effect if your guitar is electric and you have the necessary hardware.
Cheers!

Thanks for your answer.
That's truely an option. Haven't considdered this.
But it's not really easy to use. Are you aware of some kind of manual how to use it with VoiceOver on iPads?
And do you know hardware accessories like a pedal to start and stop recording? Might be handy not to use the normal keyboard. I'll need my fingers on my guitar.
All the best

Hi again!
I understand you would like any pedal for controlling.
I can't say anything about that.
The manual doesn't exist.
But this operation is enough trivial.
I mean recording and import/export.
Cheers!

Thanks again for your answer.
Yes, I agree, the action itself should be easy enough. But the app is packed with buttons and options and the structure is not so easy to understand. This is at least my perspective. And VoiceOver reacts kind of delayed or let's put it sluggish.
But anyway, of course it's doable to learn. And it's very accessible to VoiceOver. If I'm not able to find a simpler to use app with just the looper function I will definitly try Garageband.
Thanks again for your support.

Hi again!
You will find a simpler looper I think so.
But more functional as garage band I don't think you will be able to find.
If you use an electric guitar then you can plug-in to the iPad via 3.5 jack.
And you can chooser any effects or amplifier for your guitar.
If you can find out whether the extra midi device can control midi events in garage band, then you can use a midi pedal swithcer for your need, too.
But I didn't test that possibilities.
I have midi keyboard And I can play with my garage band via usb-lightning device made by Apple.
The midi pedal is working as a sustain pedal.
But for as turning off and on the record button, it doesn't function/
I also have a classical guitar, too.
I tried to use garage band for looping.
I imported sound track as the first track of garage band.
Then I made a voice track as the second track.
Then I have put on my simple Apple wired head set.
Then I chose the voice track, turned on the microphone so that i could listen my guitar clearly with different sound effect and pressed down the play button.
And i can play and listen my endless loop.
Or you can make a new project and use drum track and voice track or track for your electric guitar.
It is very accessible with voiceover.
Cheers!
