Greetings all.
I am new to trying to edit videos on an iPhone. I have followed the instructions to edit a video in the Voiceover section of the iOS13 User Manual, but the instructions appear to be incorrect. I called Apple Accessibility last night and Natalie, the lady at Apple Accessibility that I spoke with, walked me through it and everything appeared to work. However, when I reopened the app, the original video was there without the edits I made. I opened the video I wanted, selected edit, double tapped on the scrubber, then adjusted the end to clip off a few seconds of the video. The "Done" button was still dimmed out. Natalie told me, and walked me through, muting the volume on the video and then unmuted it, and once that happened the done button worked as normal. However, after hitting done and checking out the video again, it was still the original video without my edits.
I hope this makes sense. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
And cheers to Natalie because we both thought it had worked.

RE: Editing a Video
So after a couple of hours on the phone last night with both Apple Accessibility and the photo department of Apple, it was determined that the video editing bug is one that is not just a Voiceover bug. After trimming a video, the done button was still dimmed out for sighted users as well. In a work around, we all hit the "volume mute" button twice, first to mute and then un-mute the video, and for some reason, that undimmed the "done" button. However, even though it showed the edit being made, nothing actually happened. the video was still the same length. Hopefully this issue will be fixed soon. The good news is that both the reps and the supervisers could duplicate it, so hopefully we'll have this issue resolved soon.
