Emailing Photos as Attachments

By Kelly T, 30 July, 2018

iOS and iPadOS

First post, sorry if this is in the wrong place:

Using iPhone 6 w/latest IOS update... Up into April I was able to select pics from 'Photos" and email them from my home account on my iPhone to my work email working with Outlook 2016 as a separate attachment that could be saved to my Documents folders... Suddenly now the emails arrive with the size as if they have the attachments, but instead of the photo being an attachment it is a graphic in the body of the email. Others not using IOsS software are able to send photos as attachments, but for some reason I am no longer able to, and can't figure out why.

Any thoughts?

Thanks. Office

What a mess :(

By a woman

I have the exact same problem, and have actually got into quite some mess because of it, when I wanted to send photos of a damaged wall to my landlord, and then realised that, instead of neatly attached, they had messily been placed somewhere in the middle of the text of the email, between words.

Sorry for not being more helpful. But you are not alone with this. I'm using an iPhone 6s Plus, iOS 11.3.1.
