Has anyone else had problem with text boxes?

Hi, I am having a strange problem with VO on my iPhone. If their are many text boxes on a web page, like the subject and message boxes on the appleVis website, VO will let me go in to the subject box and type something, then whichever way I try getting to the next box it doesn't let me into it. I could double tap on the box then the keyboard appears for no longer than a couple of seconds then disappears again. If I turn VO off and tap on it I can hear the keyboard clicks then it disappears again as soon as I turn VO back on. It also won't let me go back to the previous box. I use Google chrome and thought it was a Google chrome bug, but it happens in safari aswell. Has anyone else had this problem or know a way round it? Thanks.

Unfortunately, this is a VoiceOver bug which was introduced in iOS 6.0 and has still to be fixed.

Do you know a way around this? I did post this comment on my iPhone but again it took a lot of messing around with the text boxes. I prefer having it on my phone because it is easier than my laptop when it actually works :)

I had that exact problem when I was trying to post to applevis the other day, but I can't think of any other time I have had a similar problem. So, my initial thought would be, that it is the sites problem, but I can't be for sure on that. Good luck with finding a fix, I just used a different method to post, so it wasn't a big deal, but it certainly is frustrating.

Yes. I've been facing the same thing, actually VO drives me crazy at some points especially on the web and while typing a text. Each and every time I double tap the subject feild VO activates it, but when tapping the next buttun un top of the edit area VO doesn't activate the comment feild, I had to tap submit and then go back again and double tap the comment feild and start typing. When typing a text using the on-screen keyboard the cursur jumps to the beginning of aword which is really frustrating. This issue happens when navigating any website as well.

I've found a way around this on the appleVis website, which is what was said above, click submit them go back and write a comment. As for the text box you mentioned where the focus jumped to the first word, I've not heard of that. It's definitely not an appleVis bug because I go on a few websites with more than 1 text box and the same thing happens.
