Hi, everyone!
My apologies if I've put this in the wrong forum category, but I wasn't sure if the iOS and iPad OS topic applied in this instance. So, for my problem. The Alon Dictaphone app lets me record in stereo and is, in theory, supposed to be able to auto-upload recordings to Dropbox and then delete said recordings from the app. I have not gotten this to work at all reliably. In fact, I've taken to emailing myself the recordings and then downloading them. Thank God for iCloud links, otherwise this wouldn't be possible, given the large file sizes I'm working with here. I like this app because it doesn't send VoiceOver to the earpiece, like I've heard Just Press Record does, and you can also record other audio from your phone such as navigation apps like SoundScape or VoiceVista, for example.
Can someone who uses this app and has Dropbox auto-upload/delete working help me figure out what the heck might be wrong? I've disabled and reenabled full access and authorization for Dropbox and set this cloud service as my default, but this has not fixed the issue. Barring fixing this, can anyone recommend a good replacement for this app? I wish RecUp had stereo recording! If it did, I'd use it in a heartbeat! I really like this app for making stereo recordings of mobility lessons to which I can listen to later on in order to take detailed notes on a route and also really get a handle on traffic patterns, and I'd hate to have to give it up. I guess I can live with having to email myself iCloud links, but come on! if an app advertises that it has certain features--it should be able to perform said features!
Thanks,
Shersey
