Hi. I tried to send a SMS text message to a short code like Twitter. I tried Google Hangouts, but it doesn't work. I can reply to the SMS message from Twitter, but I can't send messages to Twitter. Can you use iMessage to send messages to Twitter on the iPad? Or, what apps can I use to send SMS text messages to twitter? Are there any unlimited text messaging apps?

iPad and SMS messages
Though some iPads have cellular connectivity, I do not believe that you can send text messages from them. You can send iMessages, however. The reason that I think you cannot send SMS and MMS messages is the same reason that you cannot make phone calls on an iPad, but I do not know if this is correct. To see if you can send messages from an iPad, go to Settings > Messages. If you can send SMS messages, you will see settings specifically about that.
