holding a block of text on the IOS clipboard

Hello,
I am using voiceover and a Mantis 40 braille display with qwerty keyboard. I have written a block of text which must be emailed to many individuals. I selected and copied the text to the clipboard and was able to paste the text into three email messages. But when I issued the Command V paste command in the fourth email, the text did not appear in the message as expected. I had to return to the pages app, reselect the block of text again, and reissue the copy command.
In Windows, text stays on the clipboard until another copy command is issued. is there some setting, or command, which will allow me to paste the clipboard contents more than three times in a row? thanks much. Mary
