Hi everyone

1. On
https://support.apple.com/en-gb/ht201412
, I can read how I can force my iPhone to restart if my screen is frozen. In this particular case, I should look how I force restart an iPhone 6.

How can I as a blind user see when the Apple logo come up with VoiceOver activated?
If I do what Apple write in the article, I not can hear that the Apple logo come up, and I am not sure if my iPhone restart or not.

2. My iPhone 6 need a replace of the battery. Therefore, I will go to a repair shop.

What is your experience regarding delivery of iPhone to a repair shop - do you first closing VoiceOver via the triple tap on the home button, or do you let VoiceOver be activated?

Thanks in advance for your answer, and have a nice day.

Regards,
Anders

Imperfect solutions

Without sighted assistance, you might use another device to detect light from the screen. The Apple logo should sound significantly different to the light detector thana fully bright screen. On Android you can use the vOICe or on iPhone you can use the new light detection feature in Seeing AI. This isn't ideal but it can work.

Another thing is that if you have your headphones in you might hear a sudden dropoff or electrical reset when the phone is restarting. It's kind of subtle and you'll only hear it with wired headphones. Again, not the most reliable method. Unfortunately, the Apple logo signal is still not an accessible indicator for blind users.
