How to control media playback without unlocking the screen

Hi,
Is there a bluetooth device other than a headset or speaker that will allow me to skip back and forth between tracks without unlocking my screen and having to swipe? Or better yet, is there an advanced shortcut that would let me do this by I don't know maybe holding down the volume down key to skip forward a track, and holding the volume up key to skip back? It would be nice to have the ability to change tracks when I'm walking on the treadmill and the bluetooth speaker is across the room, it's not very easy to swipe and navigate the screen when I should be holding onto the treadmill with both hands, lol.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Use any bluetooth keyboard like logitech or apple. But with fheadset or speakers is better.

If you have Hey Siri enabled and are close enough to your phone, it will probably pick up your voice over the music and skip to the next / previous song, or shuffle, or whatever else you like. I just tested with this method and to my surprise it doesn't work without first waking my device (iPhone SE 2) with a press of the side button. But side button to wake plus a voice command *should* work.

Let us know how you find that solution, I bet there are other great ideas as well!
