So, I got the x and I love it. VO works great, thing is I have ringtones that came over from my back up when I set up the phone. I got them from the iTunes store. They are on my phone and I want to get rid of them or just have them on my mac. When I connect my phone to my mac and go under my device, it says there are no tones so I can not find them to be able to delete them and if I could find them, how would I go about getting rid of them without having to reset the phone to factory?
Please help

Removing Ringtones
In a recent iTunes update, Apple has removed Tones and Apps from the iTunes application, on either Macs or Windows machines, so the only way I found to remove ringtones from your phone, you must first connect your phone to your computer, open iTunes and then select your phone, as though you want to see the Summary page of your device. If you go to the list of items under your library (sorry if it may not be very detailed, don't currently have my Mac at work), if you navigate the areas under your library and keep moving down, there will be a section for your phone which includes the various areas, such as music, movies, podcasts, and in this list, you should find Tones. If you select using the spacebar (not sure if you need to press the spacebar or highlight it) and go to the list of files, you should be able to find the ringtones currently on your phone and could delete them from here. Again, my apologies if this may not be detailed instructions, my Mac is at home and not at my work as I use Windows machines at the office. HTH!
