iCloud can't be enabled with voice dream reader on my ipad

Hello Applevis
I am trying to get the Voice Dream Reader App on my iPad to synk with my iPhone but a message comes up that says iCloud is disabled. I have iCloud Drive enabled, VRD is enabled, but when I select the cloud synck option, it says iCloud can't be enabled. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app.
Any suggestions would be appreciated
Thanks
Becca

Just a thought, do you have enough space on your iCloud to do this? I know I have a large library that exceeds my iCloud capacity, and I get this error.

This only happens to my iPad. My iPhone works fine. I uninstalled the beta from my iPad.
