IOS 15 Mail app is COMPLETELY DAMRAU

iOS and iPadOS

Hi all,
So, I use an app called AnyTrans because I like to have a backup of my IOS texts on my laptop (I'm far too inexperienced with Mac to buy a Mac computer), but sometimes AnyTrans fails me. In that case I have to select each message and copy each one and then paste it into a new email address I write to myself JUST so i can access it on my laptop. THE MOST ANNOYING THING IN THE WORLD!!!!!!!
Ever since upgrading to an IPHone SE, with IOS 15.5 I think, this Mail app is COMPLETELY INACCESSIBLE with Voiceover. All it has is these nasty, probably the best way to describe it, glittery silvery jewelry frills that completely get in the way of even trying to just type anything even the "To" field and
Subject" fields!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Why did IOS' 15.5 Mail app turn complete CRAP? Anyone know of an alternative that's much much much easier to use with Voiceover? What about an app that allows you to get text messages on your laptop? I discovered KeyWi to type from your laptop's keyboard and I use that ALL THE TIME and I LOVE that. This is the IOS 15 replacement for AirType which isn't supported anymore.
Thanks in advance,

Michael

Outlook.

Hi, the outlook app is very accessible.

I don't nkow about coppying stuff to your laptop though, why do you like having them there, if you don't mind me asking? Is it a comfort thing?

Yes, it's a comfort thing. I keep all my correspondences to all my friends on my laptop because I just find it easier to read files containing the conversation on my laptop with Jaws. Rather than sifting through relatively cumbersome message threads on IOS. I'm more a laptop buff than IOS buff to be quite frank, but then again I'm also glad I discovered Keywi because if other people prefer texting I have a comfortable easy way of texting. More often than not, Braille Screen input fails me frequently as well even if I'm touching the correct dots.
Thanks for the recommendation to try the Outlook app. I'll give that a try.

I don't understand

I'm going to be blunt. I don't understand what the issue is, in the sense that I really can't make sense of what you're trying to say. I've read your post over and over, and I just can't parse it.

You use an app called AnyTrans to sync your messages to your laptop. When that fails, you use the iOS mail app as a fallback? I don't understand what you mean by glittery frills cluttering it up. Are you using Voiceover? It works near-flawlessly that way. Perhaps there's some visual clutter that I miss without sight?

In any case, I also recommend Outlook as an alternative client if you have problems with the iOS mail client. I use it for school and professional emails regularly with Voiceover.

Well, AnyTrans just lists…

Well, AnyTrans just lists out the messages in a text conversation, and it sometimes misses tons of messages especially when the chat you're trying to access is not the most recently updated chat. In which case it misses some messages I'll usually have to dig WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY down deep into the chat which is NEVER easy, then copy and paste each individual one into an Email message just so that I'd be able to read them on my Windows laptop! While Anytrans lists them out, you can't just copy it like control C, so you have to use the Jaws function called "Speech History", which is convenient for shorter texts as it allows you to copy and paste the last 10 items Jaws spoke.
Here's an example. In the real world, let's just say my text I sent at maybe like let's just say like I don't know 6:30 reads "Hey, how is that new bagpipe album?" Nikki might say "It's awesome!"
AnyTrans would present these same texts as:
MichaelDunn6:30 "How is that new bagpipe album?"
Nikki6:32 "It's awesome!"
So I use the Speech History function in Jaws to paste them into a text file on my laptop. But if the case that Anytrans misses messages I'll have to copy each and every message one by one and paste them into a new email message that I compose on my phone.
Hope this makes sense.

could you not just use thunderbird or a mail client?

It sounds like that would be much easier for you.

Outlook won't let you copy your messages.

You might be able to copy using the select text function then edit function but honestly it just sounds like using an email client would be best.
