IOS memory question.

iOS and iPadOS

Hi all,
I wanted to ask what probably is a very basic question about IOS memory. Recently I've been checking my free space more often as it is gradually declining, and I've noticed that immediately after installing app updates, it has decreased by a small amount every time. For example, I was at 14.67 free space, and after installing 10 updates, it now reads 14.62. I just wondered is this normal?
Thanks all.

IOS Memory Question

Yes this is normal. When developers release updates they can be bigger then the original app release. If you tap on an app your going to update it will tell you exactly how large of an update it is, such as 95 megabytes. If they add new features of an app naturally the install file is going to be larger.
