Ipad 2 issue with updating Apps

Hi guys, I have an iPad 2 running the latest version of iOS 6. In the App Store I have 5 pending notifications for apps to be updated. I open the App Store and find the update button on the bottom right of the ipad double tap it and nothing happens. I wait for a few minutes as sometimes it takes a few minutes for the content from the App Store to show up. Nothing happens. I've tried a soft reset and a hard reset and still nothing. I'm not sure what else to do. Anybody have suggestions? Thanks, Aaron Happy Editing

I have an ipad mini and same thing has been hapening for about a week now to me.

This issue has been going on for at least 2 months. I'm not sure if getting an new iPad will help with issue. I'm hoping so but I'm not so sure. Thanks, Aaron
