I have an IPad and I use it a lot. It is an IPad 10 generation.
Lately I have had an issue where the keyboard layout seems to have changed. I am using the swedish layout on the keyboard but it is like my VoiceOver uses the English layout resulting in commands working differently, like for example VO+ the minus sign in the keyboard, to the left of the right shift key, used to perform a magic tap. Instead, and I used VO help to confirm this, it gives a slash symbol. This does not happen when I write either.
Is there a way to fix this? It wasn’t like this before and I have not updated my IPad recently.

An update at the situation
I just unpaired the keyboard from my IPad and now it still shows the same result. The weird thing is that I only have one layout and that is the Swedish layout in my keyboard settings.
if you change it to English does it work as expected?

Are you on the Beta?
If you are on the beta submit a feedback report and include a screen recording. Remember to turn off Screen Curtain.
If you aren't on the beta I would do a screen recording remember to turn off screen curtain. I would explain exactly what the issue is and send an email to

My IPad is in English but it is the Swedish layout I have issues with. Earlier it worked just fine and I have had it for two months which is why I am so surprised that this is acting that way. How do I change layout between my keyboards, for example when I am wanting to type in English? Maybe that could help.
if this doesn't work let me know
I'm going off the top of my head.
1 go to settings.
2 go to general.
3 go to keyboard. Add keyboard then add English for default keyboard select English.
I know that…
I know how to add keyboards but there is supposed to be a keyboard shortcut to switch different keyboards.
command to switch keyboard
control shift space
Yes
That solved the problem. It looks like I used the English layout instead of the Swedish.
I have my IPad in English so had both the English and Swedish keyboards and it probably got switched.
