At this time Youtube doesn't
At this time Youtube doesn't support this feature on iOS like Netflix or Prime Video does.
On the mac sometimes VoiceOver reads automatic subtitles but honestly I have no idea how, I didn't do anything.
Hit the letter C to read
Hit the letter C to read subtitles/closed captions. There's a list of keyboard shortcuts accessed in youtube from your mac by pressing the question key shift+slash.
Crunchyroll
Hi,
Does it reads subtitles on crunchyroll?
Any Luck with this anyone?
Hello,
This topic just came up in a discussion I had with a friend.
We were able to have the YouTube IOS app display subtitles, and when we manually focused them, VoiceOver would speak the one currently displayed. However, we could not bring VO to keep reading them as new ones popped up.
Does anyone have a suggestion how we could make this work?
