Is it possible to reduce the amount of storage space used by the Facebook app?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong here, but this is not possible. Apps are the size they are. Its just like with any other app running on the mac or on windows, the size is what it is and there is nothing you can do about that. However, if its an app such as voice dream reader that has additional voices you can download , simply deleting those voices will help you to reduce space. However, Facebook doesn't have anything like that so you're out of luck I'm afraid.

Hi, how much is it taking up then?
Using Voice Dream Reader as an example, once with this app, it took up around 1.4GB due to me putting a book into it from LibriVox.org After deleting the audio book from the app, the storage stayed the same but how I reclaimed most of that space, was to delete the app and redownload it. So, if its an option and if you can, I'd suggest deleting the FB app and redownloading it again and hopefully some of that storage space will be reclaimed for you.

Hello. Just reinstall the app. This will clear the cache. I do this when my facebook reaches 300 or more mb of space.
