Keynote on iOS, presenter notes with VO

I've prepared a Keynote presentation and plan to drive the projector from my iPhone. I've ran into a couple of VoiceOver issues that make this a challenge.

Each slide in the presentation has presenter notes. I want VoiceOver focus on the presenter notes so that I can refer to them. However, in order to advance to the next slide, I have to swipe from the presenter notes to the slide, then three-finger swipe to the next slide, then swipe back to that slide's presenter notes. This seems very error-prone. Do sighted users need to place focus before advancing to the next slide? I doubt it.

I would like to review the presenter notes by line, using the rotor. This seems like the logical way to review speaking notes using VoiceOver. But presenter notes doesn't behave as I would expect. After advancing to a new slide and moving VO focus back to the presenter notes, the text cursor appears to be at the end of the text. Normally, I'd double tap to move the focus to the beginning, but that doesn't seem to work. Which means I have to swipe up through each line to get to the top. It almost makes me want to go through and put all my notes in reverse order. But I plan to distribute the notes in a PDF to attendees, so that's not really an option.

In a few days, I will be doing a dry run of the presentation using Zoom and screen sharing. I have no clue how I can access presenter notes in this scenario without showing them to everyone in the Zoom meeting. My plan is to copy the presenter notes to a separate doc that I can access with my iPhone while using Zoom and Keynote on my Mac Mini. But I'll need a different solution in a few weeks when I present using a slide projector in front of a live audience.

If anyone has any solutions for using presenter notes, please comment. Otherwise, thanks for giving me a forum to vent my frustration.
